Gary Paul Stutler announces his second solo
exhibition in Manhattan,
at the Phoenix Gallery in Chelsea. With this series, the artist's
interest in the mysteries of personality, place, and pattern, leads
to a renewed dedication to drawing the male nude (from head to toe,
and from life). Individual portraiture, the comforts of furniture and
walls, and the recording of anatomical structures make their respective
appearances, but these drawings convey more than the sum of their parts.
Exhibit runs from June 20th to July 14th, 2012.
Opening reception: Thursday, June 21st, 2012, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
